Bacner and Collector1 silently left the wiki, and now you, Lythronax, don't bring us signs of life. Please comme back, we have the innacuracies page to change, and somone have created a spam page. Of course, I can't ban him, because I'm not an admin. I can't supress Dinosaurus page too. Comme back, we will "bring the wiki back to it's former glory" ! ^^
What's on your mind?
- Creating the rest of WWD Soundtrack articles.
- Creating all WWB and Big Al Soundtrack articles that haven't been creating before.
- Expand Soundtrack existing articles if I have something to extent.
So please, if you want to do an edit on these articles, tell me ! ;)
What is already done :
- Adding categories to all articles without it
Ornithocheirus is b4d45s, but all it did was fly over to the breeding site. If he hunted more or was in real battles, he'd be awesome
I went to the page that's supposed to have it, but it's almost completely blank, having been deleted a while back. Why is that? Don't we need a set style so the pages can be consistent between each other?
Specifically, I'm talking about the ones you see at the bottom of the page, which open up to show lists linking to other articles. The Walking with Beasts/Dinosaurs ones have disappered. What happened?
Hello! Recently, on Dinopedia, I've been making edits using the Mass Categorisation tool. However, it swamps the Recent Wiki Activity page. So then I wondered, should I make a bot account?
Welcome Lythrobot, my bot. His job is to do tasks too tedious for me to do. Should I activate him here?
Hello! Recently, I've been manufacturing some templates which (not to toot my own horn) look pretty nice.
They are a warning system, to help alert users if they have been warned, blocked or banned. However, to use them to their full potential, user talk pages have to be reinstated.
Although message walls are admittedly flashier and are a more clean interface, talk pages are easier to maintain and to personalize. But, that's just me! What do you think?
Hello! As part of my major (and time-consuming) revamp of the wiki, I've been uploading images from the Walking with... books for the infobox images. Should we use them or images from the series.
Although the book images tend to be of better quality, they tend to damaged and the paper's lines can be seen.
I seem to be noticing that people are adding categories to categories and page that don't apply to everything included in that page/category. Examples: Ceratopsians in Herbivores, Herbivores, Carnivores, and Omnivores in Theropods, etc. Shouldn't we only add a catgory if it applies to the entire cateogory?
Hello all! As most of you may already know, all of the WWD3D articles are incomplete. One of the reasons why I haven't filled in the synopsis or creature/character appearance sections is because of one word: spoilers. I don't want spoilers on the wiki. It would be better to add info to the articles on the 25th March as that is the release date of the film on DVD and Blu-Ray (which I will buy and will put in 1080p snapshots from the Blu-ray discs).
Should we remove the Live! Chat? It's useless since no one goes there.
I noticed that the categorie "Animals from England" was added to Ornithochierus. But Tropeonathus, which was endemic to S. america, was the creature called "Ornithocheirus" in WWD. not the real Ornithocheirus, which was from England. What shall we do in cases like these?
Hello all. A user has very recently asked me a question that I should share with you. Should we include Walking With Dinosaurs 3D articles on this wiki? Hear me out. I am aware that the film is named after Walking With Dinosaurs but apart from including dinosaurs, the film has nothing to do with the series. It's not a spin-off or an adaptation, it's just named after it. WWD didn't include anthropomorphic dinosaurs or humans in it and the dinosaurs or in fact any of the animals spoke. Below is a poll for whether or not we should include WWD3D articles.
If there are more votes for yes, then nothing happens. If there are more votes for no, all WWD3D articles will be migrated to this wiki. If you want to go into more detail on your decision, you can reply to this thread below.
Recently, it has come to my attention that some of the animals in Walking With... have recently been renamed or reclassified. Examples include Ornithocheirus (now Tropeognathus) and Tapejara (now Tupandactylus). What should we used, the newer, more scientificly correct names or the old ones?
Hey all! I thought it would be of interest to you to look at this. This is page 33 of the leaderboard of the Wikia Activity Monitor (WAM). As you can see at the bottom of the page, we're on there! We are ranked 663 and our WAM score is 84.74. Just thought this would be of interest.
