Dominance and Hierarchy enforcement[]
The alpha asserted her authority by making Rose, who was slightly out of line with pack protocol, wait to eat until after the alpha had finished her meal, despite Rose's hard work.
To reinforce pack hierarchy, the alpha bit Rose, signaling that the alpha eats first, even after Rose's significant contribution to the pack's efforts.
Despite Rose's hard-earned meal, the alpha bit her to establish dominance, ensuring Rose understood her place in the pack's eating order.

Trivia[]
- There is some fan speculation that the Gorgosaurus that almost eats Alex in the opening of Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie is actually an Albertosaurus, though there isn't much evidence to conclude this.
- In one clip of the preview of the 2025 series, an Albertosaurus named Rose caught & killed a Pterosaur in a similar manner like Gorgon the Gorgosaurus did in the 20th Century Fox Film.

- The roaring sounds the Albertosaurus made are the same sound effects for the T.Rexes from the Film Franchise of Jurassic Park.
