Earth Day
Today and yesterday, it was Earth Day. I hope this year the conservation and the environment will be improved well and the animals were well protected. For users, followers, admins, and viewers who follow this wiki, Happy Earth Day and please watch National Geographic about Earth Day.
Also this is my first blog for this wiki.

HOW TO MAKE ANIMATRONIC DINOSAUR
- Step 1: According to clients' special request, before production starts, we -discuss until everything is confirmed!
- Step 2: Take Brachiosaurus for example, we will make a design before production. And then produce totally based on that.
- Step 3: We make Animatronic Dinosaur's Mechanical Metal Frame parts. Which is international stardard, ensure it's good quality.
- Step 4: So far, we use high density foam for our Animatronic Dinosaur, Animatronic Animal skin.
- Step 5: Sculpture. Our professional artist has over 10 years' experience to do this kind of job. All of our Animatronic Dinosaur's appearance is based on fossil unearthed. What's more, our artists are working with Scientist in Dinosaur Museum.
- Step 6: Texture. Important part, it's connected wheth…
Return
Remember my previous account from a year before? I'm back. I had to create a second account because I couldn't log back in. I announced that I would leave this wiki until July 2015.
Ankylosaurus and the ankylosaurs
I can't help but wonder if ankylosaurus and its relatives may have been smarter than we think... There is no evidence for it... But what if they were?....Hmmm...
Underwater food chain
Something like this(example): tylosaurus eats archelon/pterosaur, megalodon eats tylosaurus & dunkleosteus eats megalodon.
My final message.
Greetings all. Sorry for being heavily inactive, I'll explain why in a second. But first, you may have noticed that for a while, the wiki's wordmark had been changed to have this little title above it - "project palaeontology" to be exact. That was the title of a project I was working on but as you will see in a second, this project will never come to full term.
As the title of this blog suggests, this is my last message on this wiki, ever. This may seem a little extreme considering the amount of times I have declared my retirement from the wiki and me then coming back a day or two later, but this time, it's official.
I am leaving this forever. The main reason is that I am starting to lose interest in dinosaurs and palaeontology ever sinc…
Is there a link between Nigel Marven in Primeval and in Chased by Dinosaurs?
There has been a theory made by some internet sleuths that there is a link between the fourth episode of Primeval's third series and the Chased by Dinosaurs series.
The idea is that rather than being eaten by the Giganotosaurus in the hanger, Nigel evaded the attack and ran through the anomaly, leading to the Chased by Dinosaurs storyline.
This looks like there could be a possible link between the two programmes. However, like many fan theories, there are, of course, some plot-holes.
If Nigel Marven did travel to Patagonia, how come he had a large supply of equipment, food and vehicles at his disposal?
The colouration of the Giganotosaurus and the Velociraptors in Chased by Dinosaurs differs from their Primeval counterparts.
Nigel's outfit differs between th…
i love walking with series
i am dragonstorm 101 and i love dinosaurs and the walking with series its my favortie show.
This is goodbye
A bit late, but as you may have noticed, I've just done three edits, plus this one, making four. This puts my edit count up from six to ten. On my old account, Ibexgod, I had 990 edits. That put me ten short of 1000. This ten gets me there, or as close as I'll ever get to it.
As Collector, Bacner, and EpicPrime will surely know, as well as Jordon, shoud you still be around, watching them, to read this, I was a major editor of this site, and left when my account was disabled. You guys took note of this, and were concerned, to which I thank you. But I've decided I do not belong here. You guys have moved on, and are running well.
But, it appears my four minutes to write this is up, so I'll leave now.
Goodbye, and good luck to you all.
Walking with Dinosaurs: The Live Experience has Redesigned the Utahraptors and the T.rex
Hello all, it's --The Collector 06:22, July 19, 2014 (UTC).
I felt I needed to stop by and tell everybody about the latest Walking with... news, since it has run dry after the release (and bomb) that was Walking With Dinosaurs 3D.
For quite some time recent discoveries have proven that tyrannosaurs and raptors were covered with a fine plumage of feathers, in contrast to the scaly depictions that we've known for so long. Though this fact struggled to gain ground in mainstream media, now a days it's became increasingly common to a feathered dinosaur appear every now and then.
So to keep up with the times, the Utahraptors and the Tyrannosaurus rex of Walking With Dinosaurs: The Arena Spectacular have undergone a furry makeover as you can see here.
COMING …
One last try
I'm Ibexgod, as some of you are already aware of (EP). As you (The Admins) will surely remember, I was an advocate for displaying our modern views instead of making the old and outdated facts look like reality. This never caught on, despite the fact that I still never got a reason why the "Potrayal In the Series" suggestion wouldn't work for us both... but nevermind that. I've got one last suggestion that could finally be a compromise. Use subpages. Every [eon/era/period/epoch, group and creature] article would have a subpage, which would be articlename/facts. It would deal with our modern views, history of the views, and discovery of the creature(s). This wouldn't distract from the main article and stil gives information if people are int…
Templates and Layouts
Hello,
It has come to my attention that this Wiki is using some things taken from my own WWD Wiki; a few templates, and your apparent new "in-universe" style of article structuring. Some of your new editing guides also appear to be heavily edited versions of my own (the guidelines on Walkingpedia are almost exactly the same as mine.)
For example, your new article layouts ("physical appearance and biology", "behaviour and traits" etc.), your episode article layouts, with numerous tabs in the same style as mine, your animal and episode infoboxes, and your animal navigation on your front page. For your navigation system, you use mostly the exact same images, with the exact same names, uploaded here a mere day after I uploaded my own.
Obviously I…
My Return and Question Regarding Giganotosaurus
So, my last blog post stated that I would not return unless some major changes were made. Well, it has come to my attention that some changes did happen. I'm happy to announce I'll be returning to Walking With Wiki. Now, I don't plan on making many edits as I have a busy schedule of my own. However, if my help is needed, I'd be happy to lend a hand when I can.
Now then, on to my question. I noticed the Giganotosaurus page states that it was bigger than T.rex. The T.rex page on the other hand says that Spinosaurus and Giganotosaurus MAY have been bigger, but this is not known for any real certainty. It then goes on to say that T.rex was probably at least heavier than Giganotosaurus. My request is that, since the Giganotosaurus page is locked…
Why I am not active
Hello all! This is StellarMan1546. The reason why I'm leaving is because I don't really like Wikia that much. I'd rather study astrophysics, so bye! I'm an astrophysicist and you shouldn't expect to see me until June 1 2015. But don't block me. Bye!
Argentinosaurus has been beaten!
Looks like Argentinosaurus is not the largest dinosaur anymore. A new discovery in Argentina has revealed a titanosaur seven tonnes larger than Argentinosaurus. Shame it hasn't got an official genus name yet. If I could suggest a name, why not Saurotitan? :)
Should I post more dinosaur discoveries?

Badges
I happened to notice that new badges have arrived, and old ones have gone. Why is this? Or is this not even the case?
Why I have not been active.
Hello all. Recently, you may have noticed that I have been inactive on this wiki for some time. There's an explanation for that.
- I've been concentrating on other projects.
I have been working on other wikis like the Prehistoric Park Wiki and my own reprise of Walking With Wikis called Walkingpedia.
- I don't really like what this wiki has become.
When I first got here, the wiki was relatively barren and it was far from complete. Not its the opposite. Now, this wiki has a team of people helping to make this place better. Thank you for that. However, since there is little to add or improve, I don't think that I'm needed here anymore.
Thank you for the experience, It's been lovely being here but I think its time to move on.
So Long Walking With Wikia
I will no longer be active on this site for a number of reasons. The main one is the fact that people are looking at paleontology and dinosaurs with a very narrow and short-sighted point of view as if we have the exact answers even though we truly don't. Second, this site is supposed to be a group effort, but lately everyone has been listening to Ibexgod in every way and he's basically making the decisions here. I'm tired of all the short-sightedness and unwillingness to accept other theories and estimates for dinosaurs. Unless major changes are made around here, this will be my last message. Good luck. You'll need it.
Help
I'm currenlty in the porcess of addopting a wiki, an dam runnig it n my own, would anyone like to help? The wiki in question has to do with prehistory (I'm working on a name change.). Link: http://extinctanimal.wikia.com/wiki/Special:WikiActivity
Note that I want refs and fossil pics whenever possible, use scientific terms over common ones, and life restorations should be avoided.
New discoveries
Unfortunately, almost all of the Walking With.. animals are depicted incorrectly. Mistake list
WWD Games
As you may know, I have been adding articles about various games in the Walking with... series, but I can't do it alone. Some of the games I have never played or haven't played enough of to add information, and have since been removed (Big Al Game, Beast Box, Evolution Game). So I'm asking for help on improving the game articles.
Wiki Update (15.12.2013)
Hello all. This is an update about the wiki!
As you may know, the navigation bar at the top had 5 sections, On The Wiki, Stories, Creatures, Movie and Community. I have merged the Stories and Creatures sections together as I added code that enables extended navigation!
When you go onto a non-existent page, usually there would be a message telling you that the page doesn't exist. I've modified it to say this:
If you hover over the image of the cannibalism, its says "Poor little fella...".
Hope you like the updates. All comments welcome!

Stub Template
I need some help improving some of the templates, for example the stub template. I added an image to it, and now it keeps adding these facebook, twitter, and Google+ icons everytime you have the template on a page. Can someone help me with this? Collector1
Infobox Update
I have recently updated the infobox, as you can see on the Therizinosaurus page, I've a pronunciation section. Hope you enjoy and this helps the wiki! Collector1

Templates
Hello all. When creating or improving an article, adding text and images is one thing. The next thing is to make it well presented. This is where templates step in! On the wiki there are many simple-to-use templates designed to be used on different article. The text below should clear things up.
In the "Templates" section in the right rail, select the "Add other templates" hyperlink. You can then choose from the frequently used templates section or you can search for a template.
To insert a template via source editing, simply add

"Audiences are going to feel like they've gone back in time and met these incredible animals," said Nightingale.
