Dale Alan Russell was an American-Canadian paleontologist who served as a scientific consultant for Walking with Dinosaurs and a scientific adviser for The Ballad of Big Al, Big Al Uncovered and the Chased by Dinosaurs episode, The Giant Claw. He passed away on December 21, 2019 at the age of 81.
