Edward Drinker Cope

Edward Drinker Cope (1840-1897) was an American paleontologist mentioned in the iPad app, Walking with Dinosaurs: Inside Their World. He is famous for describing many new species of prehistoric animals, most notably, dinosaurs, and his rivalry with American paleontologist Othniel Charles Marsh, whom he competed against during the 1870s to 1890s in what is known as the Bone Wars.
