Ficus is a male Pachycephalosaurus & is the main Protagonist that appears in Chapter 5 of Wonderbook: Walking with Dinosaurs.

He comes across a female Pachycephalosaurus named Lily and starts dancing with her to impress her which works.

Later, the two of them arrive at a lake with some Triceratops. Another male Pachycephalosaurus approaches them and challenges Ficus. Another Pachycephalosaurus appears with a Tyrannosaurus named Malachite on its tail. Things get worse when a near by volcano erupts and Ficus and Lily and separated in the commotion.

Ficus later encounters Malachite and is chased by him. Ficus is able to escape when a volcano rock falls from the volcano, causing a tree to fall on Malachite. Ficus later joins a Triceratops at one of the few grazing spots left in the volcano's wake. Malachite arrives there and Ficus flees and the Triceratops fights Malachite.

Ficus is found by Malachite again but can't run away because a tree falls him. Ficus escapes when Malachite is distracted by the player.

Later, Ficus arrives at a lava stream where another Triceratops has found food. Malachite kills the Triceratops but Ficus is able to push him into the near by lava, killing him.

Ficus is then caught in the middle of a Triceratops stampede but is able to escape and reunite with Lily.
