Wonderbook: Walking with Dinosaurs is a video game for the Playstation 3.
Gameplay[]
The player opens the book and uses the controller to select an image, starting a game. The book needs to be on camera for the game to work.
Fossil Digging[]
At beginning of each chapter the book opens up into to a dig site. When the player presses the controller, it becomes a different tool. The first tool is the hammer used for breaking the rocks. Some rock requires needs the saw to cut through. The fossils are uncovered by the brush. Some dust requires the air hose to get off. The skeleton is assembled with the gripper. The skeleton soon becomes a living dinosaur. To get a gold medal, each fossil must put in the correct place without error. The player is awarded with a fact card about the dinosaur for completing the activity.
The Quiz[]
Throughout each chapter, the player is given a trivia question and given a fact card answered once answered correct. Sometimes these unlocked an extra activity. A five answer question quiz is given at the end of each half of every chapter with questions on facts or the story of the chapter. Getting all five corrects gets the player a gold medal.
Looking into the past[]
A screen opens up showing the past and player uses the controller to look around. The controller is used to select objects and animals. Finding all of them awards the player with a gold medal.
Prehistoric World[]
The book opens up into a part of the prehistoric world. Fact cards can be collected by selecting animals and objects, some of which are hidden and can be found by turning the book around. Sometimes the map is a globe. The player shouts or swipes the controller make to certain actions happen. Finding all the fact cards wins the player a gold medal.
Feeding Time[]
The camera zooms out, showing the player within a window. The controller turns into the gripper tool and is used to select plants and feed herbivorous dinosaurs. The player wins a gold medal if the player feeds the dinosaur that wants to be fed with the correct plant.
Dinosaur Battles[]
The camera zooms out, showing the player in a window while two dinosaur fight it out. The player swipes the controller or roars to help one the dinosaurs in battle. Getting all the moves correct wins the player a gold medal.
X-ray Scan[]
A dinosaur walks onto the page and the controller is used to scan the dinosaur and find four body parts in the body. Finding each body part gets the player a fact card and finding all body parts wins the player a gold medal.
Attracting a Mate[]
The player swipes the controller, copying moves to help a male dinosaur dance to impress a female dinosaur. Getting all the moves correct earns the player a gold medal.
Weigh a Dinosaur[]
The player is given a scale weight with a dinosaur on one side. The player uses the grabber tool to move vehicles to the other side of the scale weight until both side are equal. Balancing the scale fast enough gives the player a gold medal.
Dinosaur Chases[]
The player controls a dinosaur while being pursued by a threat. Wagging the controller helps the dinosaur speed up. Then the controller is used to dodge rocks. The button on the controller help the dinosaur get pasts fallen trees. If the player fails to dodge an obstacle they need to swipe the controller to dodge an attack. Not getting hit once awards the player a gold medal.
Meet the Movie Stars[]
This section of the game is unlocked after completing Chapter 1: The Great Exodus. On each page, there is a character from Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie. Using the controller to press the pages makes that character to walk on screen. The narrators will talk about the character on screen.

Trivia[]
Some of the Dinosaurs & other Creatures were originally planned for the Game. Including the other level of the Dinosaurs & some other Creatures of Africa. But they were all cutout for some reason.
