Trivia[]
- The exact identity of the Kem Kem crocodylomorph was "left intentionally vague", according to the series assistant producer Jay Balamurugan.[1]
- Elosuchus, a smaller relative of Sarcosuchus known from the Kem Kem beds, was mentioned in the paleontology dig site segment while paleontologist Nizar Ibrahim held a fossil fragment of its snout.
- There were 2 different versions of the Kem Kem crocodylomorph. The first, showing the entire body in the water, was a live action crocodilian. The second, showing the head, the eyes & the front snouted nose on the surface of the water, was a computer animated sequence.
