Rutiodon is a genus of archosauriform reptile called a phytosaur, a group of crocodilian-like reptiles that lived in the Triassic Period.
Description[]
Rutiodon was one of the largest members of Phytosauridae, reaching lengths of up to 6-8 meters. They fed on almost everything in their habitat, like amphibians, fish, and early dinosaurs, such as Coelophysis.
