Confusion over the giant ant's size?[]
I just don't get it on why did this insect grew bigger even though the oxygen levels are only like that during the Mesozoic, not Carboniferous. Why did this ant species grew bigger despite the oxygen levels? DinosaursRoar (talk) 17:22, March 11, 2017 (UTC)
Name[]
In the programme they were called "Giant ants" and in the book it is called Formicium giganteum. Was the name Titanomyrma ever canon? Edaphosaurus (talk) 14:18, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
I'm not sure. It's identified as Titanomyrma in the Wikipedia, but Wiki info should be taken with a grain of salt, since anyone can edit it. Bacner (talk) 19:36, July 3, 2014 (UTC)
Wikipedia, unlike what we are now, goes by scientifically accurate names. For example: We still identify Tropeognathus as Ornithocheirus whereas the latter goes by the more recent and accurate name Tropeognathus. Therefor, since we only go by the canon of the Walking with... series and not recent scientific discoveries, we should rename this article Formicium. Renaming it Formicium giganteum also could work too. --The Collector 01:33, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
Done. The article's renamed. That better? Bacner (talk) 13:12, July 4, 2014 (UTC)
Yep! --The Collector 23:00, July 5, 2014 (UTC)
