Dr. Thomas Richard Holtz Jr. is an American paleontologist who served as a scientific consultant for the Walking with Dinosaurs episode, Death of a Dynasty, and scientific adviser for The Ballad of Big Al and the final Chased by Dinosaurs episode, Land of Giants and also who served as a scientific advisor and consultant for the film, Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie, helping the production team identify what species of dinosaurs lived in Alaska and northern Canada during the Late Cretaceous, and also who served as a scientific consultant for the Walking with Dinosaurs (2025).
