Trivia
- This is the third installment in the franchise since the movie from 20th Century Fox and Walking with Cavemen to not be associated with Tim Haines. This will also be the only series in the franchise not to air on The Discovery Channel.
- While many species from this series are new, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Utahraptor, and Edmontosaurus all return from the original series.
- In the original series, Triceratops was only featured dead as a carcass killed by a male T. rex, but the 2025 series is featuring Triceratops very much alive & encountering a T. rex this time.
- Except for Spinosaurus, all the theropods are shown to have lips.
- The 6 program episodes have been confirmed to take places in the Jurassic Period & the Cretaceous period: 1 episode in the Jurassic & 5 episodes in the Cretaceous. No story takes place in the Triassic period unlike the original series.
- The Pachyrhinosaurus from the 2025 series bare a striking resemblance to the ones from the 2013 Feature Film by 20th Century Fox.
